It's time to leave, and I wished I could stay for one more day to complete my Grand circuit temples. (Now I have the perfect reason to return to Siem Reap next time..hehe!) On our first day in SR, we asked Sony about Mekong Express's bus tixs. However, Sony got bad experiences with the company's buses, so he only got Paramount Angkor Express's tixs. Alright, we wld just stick with it.
Paramount Angkor's shuttle bus came to fetch us from our guest house at 8 a.m plus. There was a small traffic jam when we reached the bus terminal. So they got a common bus terminal for buses leaving Siem Reap! Haha! Our bus was supposed to depart at 8.30a.m, but it was delayed for 20 mins or so. The bus was newer, but don't expect other things to be clean. For example, the curtains. Lots of stains on them..yaks~ This time round, cold bottled drinks were served to us, and the driver played Khmer pop music too. (You wld be amazed that many Khmer songs were actually from Mandopop & hokkien songs!) They also played super old Jackie Chan's movies dubbed in Khmer. So now u know how famous Jackie is. He's influential in all parts of Asia~
--On our way to Phnom Penh--
--Phnom Penh International Airport--
We reached PP at 2.45p.m and headed straight to the airport. According to E.W, the airport looked very different compared to 3 yrs ago. (E.W had been to Phnom Penh in 2006). Yeah, there were aerobridges now, and the airport was renovated.
--Lunch @ Airport--
There was only 1 cafe selling food in the departure area. So we had our light lunch at "Angkor Pub". I had their bolognese spaghetti and it was just alright. So I did not take any pics of it.
--Silkair MI 607--
There was a damn funny incident during our flight. SC was mistaken as a kid as an air stewardess asked if she wanted her kids meal to be served. Lolz~ Sadly, I only knew what happened after I heard laughter coming out from the girls.
8.50p.m - Home Sweet Home!
