North India Trip - Day 4 @ Kashmir-Agra

Date: 14/12/11
Route: Srinagar-New Delhi-Agra
--Dal Lake Morning--
It's our last day at Srinagar. One last look at the beautiful Dal Lake before we depart for New Delhi.
Frosty lamp post.
Foggy Dal Lake.
Our Shikaras.

Icy Rose~

Saw this bird outside the boat house.
King's Rose guestbook.
--Srinagar Airport/Jet Airways 9W604--
Kashmir's security is tighter when you are leaving the place. There are custom checks outside and inside the airport. Luckily I still can put batteries inside my camera. Finally can snap the snow mountains!
Srinagar airport. Goodbye Srinagar~!
Beautiful mountains~~~

Stunning!

Glad to snap pics of the river as well~!

Our lunch. It's sandwich again, but it's delicious!
E.W's vegetarian sandwich.
Our return leg got something extra....chcocolate! Jet Airways really impressed me.
--Indira Gandhi International Airport T3--
We reached Delhi at 2.44pm.
The brand new T3. Very modern and sophisicated.
I always think Changi is excellent, not for no reason. IGI is a big airport in South Asia, but wifi is only free for 20 mins, and I have to sign up. Singaporeans shld start to appreciate things and not take them for granted. The convenience we have is something uncommon elsewhere.
--Hotel Marina, Agra--
Our day has not ended. It's a 5 hours coach ride from New Delhi to Agra, which is where the Taj Mahal is located.
While I sat in the coach, I got to see the real Indian life which is very different from Kashimir. Dirty roads and rivers, busy streets, how the guys peed anywhere etc. Haha!
We reached Hotel Marina at 9pm plus and we rushed to have our buffet dinner.
That's my meal~ Yummy curry!
During our meal, the restaurant blacked out twice. This is quite a common problem in India though.
Our room. The door card got problem. We can only lock the door from inside. Not very impressed with the hotel.
